Options Community Services Donations from Boosh Food
Options Community Services receives a donation of healthy plant-based holiday meals from Boosh Food
Colton Marples from Boosh Food delivers 100% plant-based, gluten-free, heat and serve meals to Christine Mohr, CEO, Options Community Services (OCS). Options, a not-for-profit charity, provides social services for families, children, and individuals primarily in Surrey, Delta, White Rock and Langley.
"Boosh Food is based in Surrey, and we produce our meals in Cloverdale," says Colton Marples, Community Manager, Boosh Food. "We believe it's important to support the communities where we live and work, so Boosh Food donates meals to OCS throughout the year."
"I don't think anybody is surprised to hear that there's a high demand for food in our community this year," adds Christine Mohr, OCS. "We appreciate all donations, and there is a definite need for plant-based, gluten-free food for our clients with dietary restrictions or requirements." OCS shares Boosh Food meals with teen parents, families, newcomers, women, and children at the OCS Transition Houses.
