A few years ago, the company blew up with their Hydro Grip Primer, which is 100% cruelty-free and vegan. Even though they were only certified cruelty-free in 2019, they have always been 100% vegan. Rare Beauty, started by Selena Gomez, is both cruelty-free and vegan. They are made free of any animal-derived ingredients or animal by-products. They also never test on animals or ask any third party to test on their behalf. Not only are they cruelty-free and vegan, but they are also dermatologist tested and are formulated with sensitive skins in mind.
